XCR '10

Cross country and road racing at it's finest, Athletics Victoria's XCR series is a team based, 10 event series, comprising of six individual and four relay races, catering to all athletics abilities at the forefront of the sport in Australia. Tackling a range of terrains, from the rolling grass hills of Lardner Park, to the chicanes of the Sandown motor racing circuit. Individual member and non member entries welcome.

THE AVET SYSTEM

XCR'10 will see the introducion of the AVET System - a chip based electronic timing system. All members will receive a timing chip with their XCR'10 registration, which will be theirs to keep for the 2010 AND future XCR seasons. The chip will be required at each individual round of XCR'10 for timing and team point scoring, and will ensure that individual and team results are published faster and be more readily available than ever before.

Each chip will be guaranteed by Athletics Victoria for 3 years, and will be replaced at the end of that guaranteed period at no further cost to the AV member. Full details of the AVET system including distribution, chip usage and guarantees will be circulated shortly.
