The following Waverley athletes have represented Australia at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games: Robert Stone, Michael Harvey, Kate Anderson, Michelle Baumgartner, Sonia Brito, Lisa Lightfoot and more recently Madeleine Pape.
We pride ourselves as being a friendly club that encourages athletes of all standards and all age groups (U14 to veterans) to have fun and achieve their potential.
Our facilities at Central Reserve Glen Waverley boasts the best grass track in Victoria, a well-equipped weights room and clubhouse.
Regular training with club coaches takes place at Central Reserve on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and coaching is available for all track and field events (except pole vault). |

It provides specialist coaching in all events (except pole vault) with several highly qualified coaches available. SAC competes in Cross Country and summer competition and caters for athletes of all ages and abilities.
SAC has an all weather track that is well maintained, clubrooms and weights rooms. There is training available weekdays from 4.30pm and Sunday morning from 9.30am. Training at other times can be arranged with individual coaches.
SAC is a vibrant and friendly club with several training groups to choose from. |
